Former Miss India Tanushree Dutta has accused actor and almost a Bollywood legend, Nana Patekar of harassing her on the sets of 2008 film Horn Ok Pleasss.
As per Tanushree, she had refused to do intimate steps that were added in the song at the behest of Nana Patekar. Ganesh Acharya, was the song’s choreographer for the said movie and had changed the steps so that Nana Patekar could allegedly get intimate with Tanushree. Patekar also pushed her and intimidated her on the sets. When Tanushree refused to shoot the song, Nana Patekar called goons on the set to intimidate Tanushree.
Dutta in an interview recently had alleged that, after she refused to do some intimate dance steps with Nana Patekar, he called the Raj Thackeray led MNS party to further harass her. She also alleged that the producers called in the media as well to get some publicity from the incident.
When Tanushree spoke about this incident after a gap of 10 years, she was immediately questioned on the time lapse to give herself a voice.
However, a video footage capturing the violent harassment of Dutta in 2008 has emerged online. The visuals of Tanushree’s car being attacked and vandalised in 2008 are beyond questioning her of spinning any lies of what happened on the sets of the film.
She had also put on record how she and her parents were attacked by a mob of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party workers on the sets and her elderly parents are also a part of the video as narrated.
The recording clearly shows a shaken Tanushree Dutta in her car with her parents while a mob tries to break the glass of her vehicle, and climb on it while stamping it, taking out air from the car’s tyres and damaging the car. It is also condemnable that the entire piece was shot, however, barely any media ran the story back then in 2008.
Tanushree and her family were eventually escorted out to safety by the Mumbai police.

This video also is absolutely in accordance to what journalist Janice Janice Sequeira claimed via her tweets and the horrific sequence of events that she backed up, to come out in support of Tanushree Dutta.

Nana Patekar responded on 27th September to allegations of sexual misconduct on his part towards Tanushree Dutta.
When contacted by Mirror Now, Patekar laughed off the accusations and said,
“How do I know why she’s saying this? What does she mean by sexual harassment? There were 50-100 people on set with me.”
“I’ll take legal action against her. But it is a waste of time telling media about it because you will play up anything. Whatever people want to say, they can say. But I will continue doing my work,” continued the veteran actor.
