Man who hurled shoe at GVL, exposed PMO, CBI & Smriti Irani’s Ministry of Textiles of massive corruption through his PIL

GVL Narasimha Rao and Dr. Shakti Bhargava

A shoe was hurled at BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao during a press conference at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday.

The boot projectile came flying towards Rao when he was holding a press conference about Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya joining the BJP and the party fielding her from Bhopal. Congress has fielded party stalwart Digvijaya Singh from Bhopal.

The incident took place when GVL Narasimha Rao was attacking the Congress for opposing Sadhvi Pragya’s nomination. He was saying that there are no charges on her and it was at this moment that the shoe came flying at him.

The shoe pelter is identified as Shakti Bhargava, a surgeon working at a private hospital in Kanpur. He was identified on the basis of an identity card found lying at the spot.

While scrolling through the Facebook timeline of Bhargava, one can witness the genuine outburst and frustration of the doctor. His last few posts talk about “His efforts as a Whistle Blower with reference to corruption in the sale of a government property.”

Bhargava has also uploaded an August 2018 court order which states:

“The order makes adverse comments against the unprofessional attitude of Price Water Coopers House and has directed the CBI to proceed into an enquiry against the erring government officials.”

“At the end of the report, recommendation is made that the Ministry of Textiles (headed by Smriti Irani) should order an enquiry and fix the responsibilities.”

He quotes:

“My efforts as a Whistle Blower (PART -1)

NaMo in 2014 – ना खाऊंगा ना खाने दूंगा
NaMo 2019 – NO voice against corruption within the Government.
PREFACE – I have been pursuing the irregularities in the sale of immovable properties done by a Government of India Company – The British India Corporation Ltd., Kanpur, also known as the Lal Imli Mills.”

“This case is an example of the very disgraceful attitude of the officials of the Government of India, including that of the PMO, CVC, CBI and the Ministry of Textiles, who in a most profane manner allowed collective corruption done in the sale of surplus properties to continue unabated. These properties were identified as surplus and were suppose to be sold in a transparent manner so as to generate funds for revival of the Company.”

His PART 2 comprises of synopsis and list of dates for his PIL

“The synopsis of the recent PIL entertained by the Hon’ble Supreme Court is given hereunder. It details the manner in which the government authorities acted as agents to the Land-Mafias who jointly perpetrated the conspiracy of looting the prime located properties that belonged to the Government Company. “

“The details of 14 suicides committed by the employees is exhaustively covered. The Apex Court passed order dated 04 Feb, 2019 and issued notices to the Government of India and CBI amongst others.”

In Part 3, Bhargava goes on to share examples of how whistleblowers have been treated by the Modi government in past five years. He shares:

“BSF soldier – Tej Bahadur Yadav.
Yadav had uploaded a video on social media in 2017, complaining that poor quality food was being served to the troops in icy, mountainous region along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.”

“He should have been raised for his courage for bringing out the facts that if properly pursued by the Government, could have made way for plugging the corruption in the food supply chain for the Jawans. Instead, he was dismissed on the charge of indiscipline.”

Lastly, in PART 4, he writes about 14 Suicides committed by the employees of this PSU in the last 3 years.

Contrary to GVL’s allegations that Bhargava was a congress supporter, the doctor’s Facebook timeline and write ups clearly indicate otherwise. He is a common man who has been at the receiving end of Modi government’s corrupt practices.

The above facts have been referred from Dr. Shakti Bhargava’s facebook timeline.
